President's Message

President Silhouette

Since launching the Global Padmashali Association in Dubai in 2023, our purpose has been to unite our community across borders. We are building a global platform that connects people, preserves our heritage, and creates meaningful opportunities for future generations. Through Hack The Loom, we are inviting young innovators to help shape the Weavers of the World platform and solve real challenges faced by artisans. Our strategy is to combine community strength, technology, education, and global market access to improve livelihoods sustainably. We also aim to create stronger professional networks, support emerging leaders, and expand collaboration across chapters. The GPA Convention in 2027 will bring Padmashalis from around the world together to share ideas, define priorities, and shape our collective future. With unity, purpose, and action, we can build an enduring global movement that serves both our community and our heritage.

Secretary's Message

President Silhouette

Our mission is to use technology as a vehicle to empower, enhance, and expand the soul of traditional weaving—connecting master artisans directly to the world." Welcome to the Global Padmashali Association. We exist to rejuvenate our rich heritage and economically empower weaving artisans across the globe. We do not aim to compete with machine speed, but to provide consumers with a soulful, sustainable alternative. By fusing modern technology and innovative design with traditional handloom techniques, we make authentic craft accessible and affordable worldwide. Our ultimate goal is simple: to ensure our weaving community thrives financially and lives with the honor and dignity their artistry deserves.
